Scorched Cauliflower

Serves 3 - 4


  • One medium sized (8 inch) cauliflower
  • 1/3 stick butter, melted
  • 2 - 3 tablespoons of your favorite cooking oil
  • One large garlic clove, processed in a press
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Cut the cauliflower florets into somewhat uniform 1-1/2" to 2" size. Use some of the stalks at your discretion.
Mix oil, butter, garlic and salt and pepper with cauliflower... toss or brush.

Bake 40 to 50 minutes at 400 - 425 degrees. Test doneness with a fork.
Florets should be generously speckled with black scorched dots.
