DuPraw Lemon Meringue Pie


 


INGREDIENTS


    CRUST:
  • 10 double graham crackers reduced to crumbs.
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of butter

    Combine the above. Line bottom and sides of 9 inch pie pan.
    Bake crust for 10 minutes at 375 degrees.

    FILLING:
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk.
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup of lemon juice

DIRECTIONS

Blend the above and pour into crust covered pie pan.

Prepare the meringue topping by beating 2 egg whites while combining with 1/4 cup of sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 325 degrees, or until tinged with golden brown.

PS. It is realistic to make 2 at a time. There is NO better.
