Betty Crocker's Apple Crisp


Serves 8 to 10


INGREDIENTS

  • 8 to 10 cups of apples peeled and sliced.
  • 2 to 4 tsp. of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. salt

    Mix and place in a 8 by 11 Pyrex pan.

    TOPPING:
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1-1/3 sticks of soft butter
  • 1-1/2 cups of flour

DIRECTIONS

Work together until crumbly using pastry blender or fork and cover the apples.

Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes, or until attractively brown. An ideal excuse to serve with whipped cream or the unmentionable substitute.
